A Croatian-American family bringing a modern taste of Europe to The Midwest.

Meet The Pothorskis

Olga & Bojan Pothorski are both originally from Croatia. Olga came to America with her family at the age of 3 during the civil war, and after several years in Northwest Indiana, her family started Olga’s Place, a brick & mortar restaurant in Westville, IN.

In 2017, Olga met Bojan while visiting family in Croatia. They got married in 2018, and Bojan moved to America to be with his new wife.

In 2019, after 12 years of running Olga’s Place, their brick & mortar was deviated by a fire. With grit, hard work and determination, Olga & Bojan took over the family business, got it back on its feet and have been feeding people amazing home cooked meals ever since! Olga also teaches courses on how to create some of her signature dishes, as well as catering and creating some of the finest charcuterie scapes in The Region.

Olga & Bojan welcomed their first son, Filip, in 2021 and second son, Vito, in 2023. Their family resides in Westville where Olga serves on Town Council.
